"The Place Where They Meet"

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." Psalm 133:1

After much consideration and prayer for the safety of others, the CBA Leadership has voted to cancel all CBA Activities through December 31, 2020. This will not include the September & December 2020 Executive Board Meetings that will still be held at their scheduled times.

Welcome to the webpage for the Cherokee Baptist Association of Tahlequah, OK. We are a fellowship of Cherokee congregations located in the Northeast Oklahoma area.

The CBA Office & Assembly Grounds are located 5 miles east of Tahlequah on Highway 51 in the Briggs community.

Mission Statement

The mission of the CBA shall be to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by every available means in the community and beyond the community, the uniting of its member churches in fellowship & Christian education, and to minister to spiritual and physical needs of pastors and those who require such ministry, to provide opportunities for public and private worship, and to carry out the purposes set forth in the certificate of incorporation.

While the Cherokee Baptist Association has no authority over its member churches, we will serve as a resource to help churches in various projects & ministries, as well as to provide ways to fellowship with other congregations through various biblical training, worship services, activities & camps.
